Drei Monate danach

Essen macht Freude. Hatte ich früher Angst vor dem Essen so freue ich mich jetzt auf jede Mahlzeit. Ich habe absolut keine essensabhängigen Beschwerden. 

Meinen Port besitze ich noch. Er ist regelmäßig zu spülen. Beim letzten Spülen hat sich der schon offensichtlich länger abgekapselte Keim in die Blutbahn geschwemmt, was sehr unangenehm ist. Dazu hat sich noch ein Pilz gesellt. Ich hatte heuer den fünften Fieberschub mit fast 41 Grad. Viele fragen sich, warum ich den Port noch habe, wenn ich normal essen kann. Meine Armvenen sind im Laufe der Jahre so schlecht geworden, dass nicht mal mehr ein Anästhesist einen Venenzugang schafft. Ein Notfall könnte folgenschwer werden. Um die Infusionen verabreichen zu können, hab ich jetzt einen PICC Katheter. Der Port darf nicht mehr benützt werden und kommt in ein paar Tagen heraus.
