"Vielleicht hast du auch CIPO", sagt eine Wilkie-Patientin zu mir schon vor einem Jahr. Sie hat neben dem Wilkie-Syndrom auch eine chronische intestinale Pseudoobstruktion (CIPO) des Dünndarms. Meine Symptome gleichen den ihren. Ich frage meinen Internisten und er schließt diese Krankheit nicht aus. Leider wird in Österreich die spezielle Untersuchung zur CIPO-Abklärung nicht mehr gemacht. Mein Gastroenterologe meint, es wäre egal, ob die Diagnose gesichert ist oder nicht. Die Therapie bleibt die gleiche: Resolor, Schmerzmittel und parenterale Ernährung im Schub. Ansonsten könne man nur mit Medikamenten experimentieren. Ich lebe ganz gut damit, weil ich mich von der Krankheit nicht unterkriegen lasse.
