Es ist ein Wunder, dass ich lebe. Das Leben an sich ist ein Wunder, das nicht mal die besten Wissenschaftler erklären können. Es gibt tausende Dinge und Ereignisse in meinem Leben, die ich nicht erklären kann. Wie oft hat eine Situation eine überraschende positive Wende genommen: einfach nur Glück, eigene Anstrengung oder steckt da nicht oft eine höhere Macht dahinter? Ich halte mich da eher an das dritte. Begegne ich heute Menschen auf der Straße, dann höre ich oft: Wenn ich dich so sehe, dann denke ich mir, das ist ein Wunder. Über 25 jahre habe ich mit den Beschwerden im Bauch gelebt. Die letzten Jahre habe ich ernährungstechnisch um das Überleben gekämpft. Viele haben nicht mehr geglaubt, dass da noch eine so positive Wende kommt. Die Operation hat mein Leben verändert. Natürlich hat ein Mensch durch die Operation die Wende herbeigeführt, aber der Weg dort hin war wie auf wunderbare Weise für mich geebnet. Auch die Genesung ging nach dem ersten schweren Monat plötzlich blitzartig voran. Die Menschen sagen, es wäre ein Wunder. Wie auch immer, mein neues Leben ist einfach wunderbar!
