Johannes Paul II verdanke ich es, dass ich meine Reise antreten kann. Noch vor wenigen Stunden war nichts sicher. Vor 36 Stunden habe ich ganz besonders den neuen Heiligen um seine Fürbitte gebeten. Er ist so viel gereist und ihm ging es auch oft nicht gut. Ich habe alles, wirklich alles in Gottes Hände gelegt. Nicht mein, sondern dein Wille soll geschehen. Ich fühlte mich wie Abraham, als er seinen geliebten Sohn Isaak opfern sollte. Er wollte es tun aus Liebe zu Gott. Abraham wurde für seinen Glauben belohnt und er bekam Isaak zurückgeschenkt. So erfahre ich es auch gerade. Ich freue mich über das Geschenk und nehme es demütig an. Es ist eine große Gnade von Gott, dass ich diese Reise machen darf.
