Gestern habe ich nach Jahren wieder einmal meine Diagnose Arteria mesenterica superior Syndrom (Wilkie-Syndrom) gegooglt. Es kamen normalerweise immer die schon bekannten Seiten und an erster Stelle meine Webseite. Dieses Mal war ein neuer Bericht dabei: "Können die Ärzte das Leben von Chelsea retten?" Auf dramatische Weise wird über ein 15-jähriges Mädchen aus Amerika berichtet, das so wie ich am Wilikie-Syndrom leidet und künstlich ernährt werden muss. Sie hofft auf eine rettende Operation. Da sich in den U.S.A. kein Chirurg fand, der sich für diese schwere Operation an den Arterien bereit erklärt hatte, fand das Mädchen den Weg nach Deutschland. Der Bericht enthielt einen Spendenaufruf, damit Chelsea nach Europa fliegen und die notwendige Operation gemacht werden kann. Ich recherchiere weiter und erfahre, dass Chelsea von Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Sandmann in Düsseldorf erfolgreich operiert wurde.
